The Birth and Career Account of Māndhātṛ

तत्पश्चात्‌ तपोधन च्यवन मुनिके सहित सब मुनि जाग उठे। उन सबने उस कलशको जलसे शून्य देखा ।। कस्य कर्मेदमिति ते पर्यपृच्छन्‌ समागता: । युवनाश्वो ममेत्येवं सत्यं समभिपद्यत,फिर तो वे सब एकत्र हो गये और एक-दूसरेसे पूछने लगे--“यह किसका कर्म है?' युवनाश्वने सामने आकर कहा--“यह मेरा ही कर्म है।' इस प्रकार उन्होंने सत्यको स्वीकार कर लिया

kasya karmedam iti te paryapṛcchan samāgatāḥ | yuvanāśvo mamety evaṃ satyaṃ samabhipadyata ||

ครั้นแล้วเหล่าฤๅษีทั้งปวงพร้อมด้วยฤๅษีผู้ทรงตบะคือจยวนะตื่นขึ้น เห็นหม้อน้ำนั้นว่างเปล่าไร้น้ำ จึงมาชุมนุมถามกันว่า “การกระทำนี้เป็นของผู้ใด?” ครั้นนั้นยุวนาศวะก้าวออกมาข้างหน้า กล่าวรับด้วยสัตย์ว่า “การกระทำนี้เป็นของเรา” ดังนี้ความจริงจึงเป็นที่ยอมรับโดยพร้อมเพรียง
