सपुत्रे त्वयि वृत्तिं च वर्तते यां नराधिप । दाहितश्च निरस्तश्न त्वामेवोपाश्रित: पुन:

vaiśampāyana uvāca | saputre tvayi vṛttiṃ ca vartate yāṃ narādhipa | dāhitaś ca nirastaś ca tvām evopāśritaḥ punaḥ ||

ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า “ข้าแต่พระราชา พระองค์มิได้ไม่รู้ถึงความประพฤติที่อชาตศัตรู ยุธิษฐิระ พร้อมด้วยโอรสทั้งหลาย ได้แสดงต่อพระองค์มาโดยสม่ำเสมอ แม้เขาถูกวางแผนให้ถูกเผาในเรือนยางรัก และถูกขับออกจากแว่นแคว้นและแผ่นดิน เขาก็ยังกลับมาอีกครั้ง ขอพึ่งพระองค์เพียงผู้เดียวเป็นที่ลี้ภัย”
