कुरुसभायां केशवागमन-सत्कारविधानम् / Preparations to Honor Keśava at the Kuru Court

तस्मिन्‌ ग्रामे प्रधानास्तु य आसन्‌ ब्राह्मणा नृप । आर्या: कुलीना ह्वीमन्तो ब्राद्मीं वृत्तिमनुछिता:,राजन! उस गाँवमें जो प्रमुख ब्राह्मण रहते थे, वे श्रेष्ठ कुलीन, लज्जाशील और ब्राह्मणोचित वृत्तिका पालन करनेवाले थे

tasmin grāme pradhānās tu ya āsan brāhmaṇā nṛpa | āryāḥ kulīnā hrīmanto brāhmīṁ vṛttim anucchitāḥ ||

ข้าแต่พระราชา ในหมู่บ้านนั้น พราหมณ์ผู้เป็นหลักทั้งหลายล้วนเป็นผู้ประเสริฐ มีชาติตระกูลดี สำรวมละอาย และดำรงชีพตามวิถีอันสมควรแก่พราหมณ์
