प्रत्रजन्तोडनुधावन्तीं कृपणां पुत्रगृद्धिनीम्‌ । रुदतीमपहायैनामगच्छाम वयं वनम्‌

Transliteration

pratrajantod anudhāvantīṁ kṛpaṇāṁ putragṛddhinīm | rudatīm apahāyainām agacchāma vayaṁ vanam ||

Translation

ครั้นเมื่อพวกเราจะออกเดินทางสู่ป่า นางผู้แสนรันทดนั้น—ถูกความรักใคร่ในบุตรครอบงำ—ก็ร่ำไห้สะอื้น วิ่งตามหลังพวกเราไม่หยุด; แต่พวกเรากลับทอดทิ้งนางไว้ ณ ที่นั้น แล้วมุ่งหน้าเข้าสู่พงไพร
