यदस्य धर्म्य मरणं शाश्व॒तं लोकवर्त्म तत् । समन्तात् सर्वभूतानां न तदत्येति कश्चन,मनुष्यकी जो धर्मानुकूल मृत्यु है, वह परलोकके लिये सनातन मार्ग है। सम्पूर्ण प्राणियोंमेंसे कोई भी उस मृत्युका सब ओरसे उल्लंघन नहीं कर सकता
yad asya dharmyaṁ maraṇaṁ śāśvataṁ lokavartma tat | samantāt sarvabhūtānāṁ na tad atyeti kaścana ||
ความตายที่สอดคล้องกับธรรมะนั้นแล คือหนทางนิรันดร์สู่ปรโลก ในหมู่สรรพสัตว์ทั้งปวง ไม่มีผู้ใดจะล่วงพ้นหรือหลีกเลี่ยงชะตานั้นได้ไม่ว่าทางใด
