उद्योगपर्व — अध्याय ५४: दुर्योधनस्य धृतराष्ट्रं प्रति बलप्रशंसन-युक्तः आश्वासनवादः
Duryodhana’s Reassurance and Force-Praise to Dhritarashtra
न ते स्थास्यन्ति समये पाण्डवा इति मे मतिः । समुच्छेदं हि नः कृत्स्नं वासुदेवश्चिकीर्षति
na te sthāsyanti samaye pāṇḍavā iti me matiḥ | samucchedaṃ hi naḥ kṛtsnaṃ vāsudevaś cikīrṣati ||
ตามความเห็นของข้า ปาณฑพจะไม่ยืนหยัดตามกำหนดเวลาที่ตกลงกันไว้; เพราะวาสุเทวะ (กฤษณะ) มุ่งหมายจะทำลายพวกเราให้สิ้นเชิง
