Udyoga Parva, Adhyaya 52: Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Appraisal of Pāṇḍava Strength and the Case for Restraint

यश्न सेन्द्रानिमॉल्लोकानिच्छन्‌ कुर्याद्‌ वशे बली । स स््रष्टा जगत: कृष्ण: पाण्डवानां जये धृत:

yaśna sendrān imāṁl lokān icchan kuryād vaśe balī | sa sraṣṭā jagataḥ kṛṣṇaḥ pāṇḍavānāṁ jaye dhṛtaḥ ||

ธฤตราษฏร์ตรัสว่า “ผู้มีกำลังผู้ใฝ่ยศ อาจปรารถนาจะทำให้โลกทั้งหลายนี้—even พร้อมด้วยพระอินทร์—อยู่ใต้อำนาจตน; แต่กฤษณะ ผู้เป็นผู้สร้างจักรวาล กลับทรงแน่วแน่เพื่อชัยชนะของปาณฑพ”
