Udyoga-parva Adhyāya 50 — Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Appraisal of Bhīmasena (भीमसेनभयवर्णनम्)
यथा मृगाणां यूथेषु सिंहो जातबलभ्चरेत् मामकेषु तथा भीमो बलेषु विचरिष्यति,जैसे बलवान सिंह मृगोंके यूथोंमें निःशंक विचरण करता है, उसी प्रकार भीमसेन मेरी विशाल वाहिनियोंमें बेखटके विचरेगा
dhṛtarāṣṭra uvāca |
yathā mṛgāṇāṁ yūtheṣu siṁho jātabalas caret māmakeṣu tathā bhīmo baleṣu vicariṣyati |
ธฤตราษฏระตรัสว่า “ดุจสิงห์ผู้มีกำลังเต็มที่เที่ยวไปอย่างไม่ครั่นคร้ามท่ามกลางฝูงกวาง ฉันใด ภีมก็จักเคลื่อนไปโดยไร้อุปสรรคท่ามกลางกองทัพใหญ่ของเราฉันนั้น”
