Sañjaya’s Report
उच्चावचं दैवयुक्तं रहस्यं दिव्या: प्रश्ना मृगचक्रा मुहूर्ता: । क्षयं महान्तं कुरुसूंजयानां निवेदयन्ते पाण्डवानां जयं च
sañjaya uvāca |
ucchāvacaṃ daivayuktaṃ rahasyaṃ divyāḥ praśnā mṛgacakrā muhūrtāḥ |
kṣayaṃ mahāntaṃ kurusūñjayānāṃ nivedayante pāṇḍavānāṃ jayaṃ ca ||
สัญชัยกล่าวว่า: “ท่านเหล่านั้นสามารถเปิดเผยความลับอันลึกซึ้งที่ผูกพันกับชะตา ซึ่งทำให้เข้าใจทั้งความรุ่งเรืองและความเสื่อมถอยได้ พวกท่านตอบคำถามด้วยวิธีอัศจรรย์ประหนึ่งเหนือมนุษย์ ทำให้หยั่งรู้เหตุการณ์ที่จะมาถึง อีกทั้งตรวจพิจารณาผลมงคลและอวมงคลด้วยจักร ‘สรรวโตภัทร’ และจักรโหรอื่น ๆ และเป็นปราชญ์ในศาสตร์แห่งฤกษ์ยาม พวกท่านยืนยันหนักแน่นว่า ความพินาศใหญ่หลวงรอคอยเหล่ากุรุและสุนชัย และในมหาสงครามนี้ ปาณฑพจะเป็นฝ่ายมีชัย”
