तस्य पर्येषणं गच्छेत् प्रत्यर्थिषु कथठ्चन । अविचिन्वन्निमं वेदे तप: पश्यति त॑ प्रभुम्,आत्माका अनुसंधान अनात्मपदार्थो्में तो किसी तरह करे ही नहीं, वेदके वाक्योंमें भी न ढूँढ़कर केवल तपके द्वारा उस प्रभुका साक्षात्कार करे
tasya paryeṣaṇaṁ gacchet pratyarthiṣu kathaṁcana | avicinvan nimaṁ vede tapaḥ paśyati taṁ prabhum ||
อย่าแสวงหาพระองค์นั้นในสิ่งที่ไม่ใช่อาตมัน ไม่ว่าโดยประการใด และอย่ามัวแต่ไล่ค้นเพียงในถ้อยคำแห่งพระเวท; ด้วยตบัส—ความเพียรเคร่งครัดภายใน—ย่อมเห็นพระผู้เป็นเจ้านั้นได้
