Udyoga-parva Adhyāya 34 — Vidura’s Counsel on Deliberation, Speech-Discipline, and Dharmic Kingship
श्रीमड्नलात् प्रभवति प्रागल्भ्यात् सम्प्रवर्धते । दाक्ष्यात् तु कुरुते मूलं संयमात् प्रतितिष्ठति
śrīmad-balāt prabhavati prāgalbhyāt sampravardhate | dākṣyāt tu kurute mūlaṃ saṃyamāt pratitiṣṭhati ||
วิฑูรกล่าวสอนว่า—ศรีและความรุ่งเรืองบังเกิดจากกรรมอันเป็นมงคล; เจริญงอกงามด้วยความกล้าริเริ่ม; หยั่งรากด้วยความชำนาญ; และตั้งมั่นมั่นคงด้วยความสำรวมตน.
