सेनासमागमः — The Convergence of Armies
बभूव कौरवेयाणां बलेनातीव संवृत: । तत्र सैन्यं तथा युक्त ददर्श स पुरोहित:,पांचालराज ट्रुपदने अपने जिन पुरोहित ब्राह्मणको कौरवोंके पास भेजा था, उन्होंने वहाँ पहुँचकर उस विशाल सेनाके जमावको देखा
babhūva kauraveyāṇāṃ balenātīva saṃvṛtaḥ | tatra sainyaṃ tathā yuktaṃ dadarśa sa purohitaḥ ||
แผ่นดินส่วนนั้นถูกปกคลุมแน่นหนาด้วยกำลังทัพของเหล่ากุรุวงศ์ ครั้นปุโรหิตผู้เป็นทูตซึ่งพระเจ้าทรุปทะแห่งปัญจาลส่งมาไปถึง ก็ได้เห็นกองทัพมหึมาที่จัดกระบวนอย่างเป็นระเบียบ
