भीष्मस्वप्न-स्मृत्युपाख्यानम् | Bhīṣma’s Dream-Linked Recollection of the Paraśurāma Combat

भीष्ममेव प्रपद्यस्व न ते5न्या विद्यते गति: । निर्जितो हास्मि भीष्मेण महास्त्राणि प्रमुडचता,अब तू भीष्मकी ही शरण ले। तेरे लिये दूसरी कोई गति नहीं है; क्योंकि महान्‌ अस्त्रोंका प्रयोग करके भीष्मने मुझे जीत लिया है

bhīṣmam eva prapadyasva na te 'nyā vidyate gatiḥ | nirjito hāsmi bhīṣmeṇa mahāstrāṇi pramuñcatā ||

จงเข้าพึ่งภีษมเพียงผู้เดียวเถิด สำหรับเจ้าไม่มีหนทางอื่น ข้าถูกภีษมปราบลง แม้ข้าจะปล่อยมหาอาวุธอันยิ่งใหญ่แล้วก็ตาม
