भीष्मस्वप्न-स्मृत्युपाख्यानम् | Bhīṣma’s Dream-Linked Recollection of the Paraśurāma Combat

सा वत्सभूमिं कौरव्य तीर्थलोभात्‌ ततस्ततः । पतिता परिधावन्ती पुनः काशिपते: सुता

sā vatsabhūmiṃ kauravya tīrthalobhāt tatastataḥ | patitā paridhāvantī punaḥ kāśipateḥ sutā ||

โอ กุรวยะ! ด้วยความโลภใคร่ต่อท่าข้ามศักดิ์สิทธิ์และสถานที่บุญกุศล ธิดาแห่งกษัตริย์กาศีผู้นั้นจึงวิ่งวุ่นไปทั่วแผ่นดินวัตสะ ทั้งล้มแล้วล้มเล่า แต่ก็ยังเร่งรุดไม่หยุดยั้ง
