एवं ब्रुवाणो गान्धारे रामो मां सत्यविक्रम: । शरब्रातेन महता सर्वतः प्रत्यवारयत्,गान्धारीनन्दन! ऐसा कहते हुए सत्यपराक्रमी परशुरामजीने मुझे सब ओरसे अपने बाणोंके महान् समुदायद्वारा आवृत कर लिया
evaṁ bruvāṇo gāndhāre rāmo māṁ satyavikramaḥ | śaravrātena mahatā sarvataḥ pratyavārayat ||
โอ้โอรสแห่งคานธารี! ครั้นราม (ปรศุราม) ผู้มีเดชกล้าสัตย์มั่นกล่าวดังนั้นแล้ว ก็ระดมลูกศรเป็นมหาหมู่ ล้อมกั้นข้าพเจ้าจากทุกทิศ
