अम्बा–राम–भीष्म संवादः

Amba–Rama–Bhishma Dialogue on Vow and Refuge

अतदर्हा महाभागा भगीरथसुतानघा । या त्वामजीजनन्मन्दं युद्धकामुकमातुरम्‌

atadarhā mahābhāgā bhagīrathasutānaghā | yā tvām ajījanan mandaṃ yuddhakāmukam āturam ||

พระคงคาผู้ประเสริฐ ไร้มลทิน เป็นธิดาแห่งภคีรถะ หาได้สมควรเห็นความทุกข์นี้ไม่; แต่เพราะพระนางให้กำเนิดท่าน—ผู้เขลา ร้อนรน และหลงใหลในศึก—พระนางจึงจำต้องแบกรับความเจ็บปวดนี้โดยหลีกมิได้
