अम्बाया निर्वेदः तपोव्रताभ्यर्थना च
Ambā’s Despair and Petition for Ascetic Vows
एतद् बुद्धया विनिश्चित्य मनसा भरतर्षभ । यत् क्षमं ते महाबाहो तदिहारब्धुमहसि,“महाबाहु भरतश्रेष्ठ! अपनी बुद्धि और मनसे इस विषयमें निश्चित विचार करके तुम्हें जो उचित प्रतीत हो, वही करना चाहिये
etad buddhyā viniścitya manasā bharatarṣabha | yat kṣamaṃ te mahābāho tad ihārabdhum arhasi ||
โอ มหาพาหุ ผู้ประเสริฐในวงศ์ภารตะ จงไตร่ตรองให้แน่ชัดด้วยปัญญาและด้วยใจ แล้วสิ่งใดที่ท่านเห็นว่าสมควรและเหมาะสม ก็พึงกระทำสิ่งนั้น ณ ที่นี้
