Sāma–Bheda–Daṇḍa
न चातिष्ठत् पितुः शास्त्रे बलदर्पविमोहित:ः । अवमेने च पितरं 40 क्षाप्पपराजित:
na cātiṣṭhat pituḥ śāstre baladarpavimohitaḥ | avamene ca pitaraṃ kṣāpraparājitaḥ ||
ด้วยความหลงในทิฐิแห่งกำลังตน เขามิได้ยึดถือคำสั่งสอนของบิดา ผู้ซึ่งไม่มีใครพิชิตได้ กลับดูหมิ่นแม้กระทั่งบิดาของตนเอง
वायुदेव उवाच
Power and invincibility can breed pride that destroys dharma: ignoring a father’s rightful instruction and showing contempt to elders is presented as an ethical downfall, even if one is undefeated by external enemies.
Vāyudeva describes a person whose strength and arrogance have deluded him: he refuses to follow his father’s commands and even disrespects his father, illustrating moral decline within the family sphere.
