ततो रामेण समरे द्वन्द्ययुद्धमुपागमम्‌ । स हि रामभयादेभिननागिरैरविप्रवासित:

Transliteration

tato rāmeṇa samare dvandvayuddham upāgamam | sa hi rāmabhayād ebhiḥ nāgikaiḥ aviprāvāsitaḥ ||

Translation

แล้วต่อมา ณ สมรภูมิ เราได้เข้าสู่การประลองเดี่ยวกับรามะ (ปรศุราม) เพราะในกาลนั้น ด้วยความหวาดกลัวต่อรามะ ชาวเมืองแห่งนี้ได้ขับไล่พระวิจิตรวีรยะให้ออกห่างจากนคร ส่งไปดุจผู้ถูกเนรเทศ
