कर्ण–कृष्णसंवादः (Karṇa–Kṛṣṇa-saṃvādaḥ) — Karṇa’s Statement on Lineage, Loyalty, and the ‘Śastra-yajña’ Metaphor

वायुदेव उवाच उपासितास्ते राधेय ब्राह्मणा वेदपारगा: । तत्त्वार्थ परिपृष्टाश्न नियतेनानसूयया,श्रीकृष्णने कहा--राधानन्दन! तुमने वेदोंके पारंगत ब्राह्मणोंकी उपासना की है। तत्त्वज्ञानके लिये संयम-नियमसे रहकर दोष-दृष्टिका परित्याग करके उन ब्राह्मणोंसे अपनी शंकाएँ पूछी हैं

vāyudeva uvāca | upāsitās te rādheya brāhmaṇā vedapāragāḥ | tattvārtha-paripṛṣṭāś ca niyatena anasūyayā ||

วายุเทพตรัสว่า “โอ ราธेय! เจ้าได้บำเพ็ญการอุปาสนาและเคารพบูชาพราหมณ์ผู้เชี่ยวชาญพระเวทแล้ว ด้วยความสำรวมและวินัย ปราศจากการเพ่งโทษและความริษยา เจ้าได้ไต่ถามท่านเหล่านั้นถึงความหมายแห่งตัตตวะอันแท้จริง”
