भीष्मद्रोणयोर्दुर्योधनं प्रति शमोपदेशः | Bhīṣma and Droṇa’s Counsel of Conciliation to Duryodhana

युक्तमेतन्महा भागे कुले जाते यशस्विनि । यन्मे पुत्रेषु सर्वेषु यथावत्‌ त्वमवर्तिथा:,माधव! श्रीकृष्ण! तुम सब धर्मोको विशेषरूपसे जाननेवाली महात्मा पाण्डुकी पुत्रवधू कल्याणमयी, यशस्विनी द्रौपदीसे कहना--“बेटी! तू परम सौभाग्यशाली यशस्वी कुलमें उत्पन्न हुई है। तूने मेरे सभी पुत्रोंके साथ जो धर्मानुसार यथोचित बर्ताव किया है, यह तेरे ही योग्य है!

yuktam etan mahābhāge kule jāte yaśasvini | yan me putreṣu sarveṣu yathāvat tvam avartithāḥ ||

ชอบแล้ว โอสตรีผู้มีบุญวาสนา ผู้ทรงเกียรติยศ ผู้บังเกิดในตระกูลอันเลื่องชื่อ ที่เจ้าประพฤติต่อบุตรทั้งปวงของข้าอย่างถูกต้องสมควรตามธรรมะ
