Udyoga Parva — Gandhārī’s Counsel to Duryodhana
राजन् दुर्योधन बद्ध्वा ततः संशाम्य पाण्डवै: । त्वत्कृते न विनश्येयु: क्षत्रिया: क्षत्रियर्षभ
rājan duryodhanaṁ baddhvā tataḥ saṁśāmya pāṇḍavaiḥ | tvatkṛte na vinaśyeyuḥ kṣatriyāḥ kṣatriyarṣabha ||
ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า “ข้าแต่พระราชา จงจับทุรโยธนะไว้ แล้วจึงทำสันติไมตรีกับเหล่าปาณฑพเถิด โอ้ผู้ประเสริฐในหมู่กษัตริย์ ขออย่าให้เป็นไปว่าเพราะพระองค์ เหล่ากษัตริยาทั้งหลายต้องพินาศสิ้น”
