जन्मप्रभृति कौन्तेया नित्यं विनिकृतास्त्वया । नच ते जातु कुप्यन्ति धर्मात्मानो हि पाण्डवा:,“तुमने जन्मसे ही कुन्तीपुत्रोंक साथ सदा शठतापूर्ण बर्ताव किया है, परंतु वे इसके लिये कभी कुपित नहीं हुए हैं; क्योंकि पाण्डव धर्मात्मा हैं

janmaprabhṛti kaunteyā nityaṁ vinikṛtās tvayā | na ca te jātu kupyanti dharmātmāno hi pāṇḍavāḥ ||

ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า “โอ กุันตีบุตร ตั้งแต่กำเนิดมา เจ้ากระทำต่อพวกเขาด้วยเล่ห์กลและการทำร้ายอยู่เนืองนิตย์ แต่พวกเขามิได้โกรธเคืองเจ้าเลย เพราะเหล่าปาณฑพเป็นผู้ตั้งมั่นในธรรม”
