अभिवाद्य नमस्कृत्य मातामहमथाब्रुवन् । उच्चैरनुपमै: स्निग्धैः स्वरैरापूर्य मेदिनीम्
abhivādya namaskṛtya mātāmaham athābruvan | uccair anupamaiḥ snigdhaiḥ svarair āpūrya medinīm ||
ครั้นถวายอภิวาทและนมัสการแด่มาตามหแล้ว เขาทั้งหลายจึงกล่าว—ด้วยสุรเสียงกังวานสูง อันหาที่เปรียบมิได้ ทั้งอ่อนหวานและเปี่ยมเมตตา ราวกับเติมเต็มแผ่นดินทั้งสิ้น.
