स तया रममाणो<थ विश्वामित्रो महाद्युति: । आत्मजं जनयामास माधवीपुत्रमष्टकम्
sa tayā ramamāṇo ’tha viśvāmitro mahādyutiḥ | ātmajaṃ janayāmāsa mādhavīputram aṣṭakam ||
นารทกล่าวว่า ครั้นแล้วฤๅษีวิศวามิตรผู้รุ่งเรืองได้ร่วมสมาคมกับนาง และเมื่อถึงกาลก็ให้กำเนิดบุตรชายหนึ่งคน บุตรของมาธวีผู้นั้นมีนามว่า อัษฏกะ
नारद उवाच

Nārada narrates that Viśvāmitra, after being with Mādhavī, fathers a son. The child born from Mādhavī is named Aṣṭaka, marking another stage in the account of Mādhavī’s motherhood and the generation of notable descendants.
