कटके कुण्डले चैव ब्रह्मुसूत्रं तथा परम्
kaṭake kuṇḍale caiva brahmasūtraṃ tathā param | kaḍe kuṇḍala yajñopavīta vicitra-vastraṃ viśeṣataḥ gandham arpitvā vācakasya devatā-samāṃ pūjāṃ kuryāt | evaṃ-kārī śrotā bhagavato viṣṇoḥ loke gacchati ||
ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า “เมื่อถวายกำไลต้นแขน ตุ้มหู และสายศักดิ์สิทธิ์ (ยัชโญปวีตะ) พร้อมทั้งเครื่องประดับ ผ้าลวดลายงดงาม และโดยเฉพาะของหอม พึงบูชาผู้สาธยายประหนึ่งบูชาเทพ. ผู้ฟังที่กระทำดังนี้ย่อมบรรลุโลกของพระวิษณุ”
