Chapter 81: Trust, Allies, and the Qualifications of the King’s Artha-Secretary (अर्थसचिव)

य एवं वर्तते नित्य॑ ज्ञातिसम्बन्धिमण्डले । मित्रेष्वमित्रे मध्यस्थे चिरं यशसि तिकछति,जो कुट॒म्बी, सगे-सम्बन्धी, मित्र, शत्रु तथा मध्यस्थ व्यक्तियोंकी मण्डलीमें सदा इसी नीतिसे व्यवहार करता है, वह चिरकालतक यशस्वी बना रहता है

ya evaṁ vartate nityaṁ jñāti-sambandhi-maṇḍale | mitreṣv amitre madhyasthé ciraṁ yaśasi tiṣṭhati ||

ผู้ใดประพฤติตนเช่นนี้เป็นนิตย์ในหมู่ญาติและเครือญาติ—ต่อมิตร ต่อศัตรู และต่อผู้เป็นกลาง—ผู้นั้นย่อมดำรงอยู่ในเกียรติยศอันยืนนาน
