सम्मानयेत्‌ पूजयेच्च वाचा नित्यं च कर्मणा । कुर्याच्च प्रियमेतेभ्यो नाप्रियं किज्चिदाचरेत्‌,राजाका कर्तव्य है कि वह सदा अपने जातीय बन्धुओंका वाणी और क्रियाद्वारा आदर-सत्कार करे। वह प्रतिदिन उनका प्रिय ही करता रहे। कभी कोई अप्रिय कार्य न करे

sammānayet pūjayec ca vācā nityaṃ ca karmaṇā | kuryāc ca priyam etebhyo nāpriyaṃ kiñcid ācaret |

หน้าที่ของพระราชาคือทรงให้เกียรติและบูชาญาติวงศ์ของพระองค์อยู่เสมอ ทั้งด้วยวาจาอันสุภาพและด้วยการกระทำอันมั่นคง. วันแล้ววันเล่าพึงทรงกระทำแต่สิ่งที่เป็นที่พอใจแก่เขา และอย่าทรงกระทำสิ่งใดที่ก่อให้เกิดความไม่พอใจเลย.
