Purohita-Niyoga and the Brahma–Kṣatra Concord

धर्मात्मा मन्त्रविद्‌ येषां राज्ञां राजन्‌ पुरोहित: । राजा चैवंगुणो येषां कुशलं तेषु सर्वश:,राजन्‌! जिन राजाओंका पुरोहित धर्मात्मा एवं सलाह देनेमें कुशल होता है और जिनका राजा भी ऐसे ही गुणोंसे सम्पन्न (धर्मपरायण एवं गुप्त बातोंका जाननेवाला) होता है, उन राजा और प्रजाओंका सब प्रकारसे भला होता है

bhīṣma uvāca | dharmātmā mantravid yeṣāṃ rājñāṃ rājan purohitaḥ | rājā caivaṃguṇo yeṣāṃ kuśalaṃ teṣu sarvaśaḥ ||

ภีษมะกล่าวว่า “ข้าแต่พระราชา เมื่อปุโรหิตหลวงเป็นผู้ตั้งมั่นในธรรมและชำนาญในการถวายคำปรึกษา และพระราชาเองก็ทรงมีคุณสมบัติเช่นนั้นแล้ว พระราชาและไพร่ฟ้าประชาราษฎร์ย่อมมีความผาสุกโดยรอบด้าน”
