Daṇḍanīti and the King as the Cause of Yuga-Order (दण्डनीतिः राजधर्मश्च युगकारणत्वम्)
इस जगत्में उस समय रोग नहीं होते, कोई भी मनुष्य अल्पायु नहीं दिखायी देता, स्त्रियाँ विधवा नहीं होती हैं तथा कोई भी मनुष्य दीन-दुखी नहीं होता है ।।
akṛṣṭapacyā pṛthivī bhavanty oṣadhayas tathā | tvakpatraphalamūlāni vīryavanti bhavanti ca ||
ภีษมะกล่าวว่า “ในกาลนั้น โลกนี้ไร้โรคภัย ไม่ปรากฏผู้ใดอายุสั้น สตรีไม่ต้องเป็นหม้าย และไม่มีผู้ใดตกอยู่ในความยากเข็ญ แผ่นดินให้ธัญญาหารโดยไม่ต้องไถหว่าน สมุนไพรก็บังเกิดขึ้นเอง ทั้งเปลือก ใบ ผล และราก ล้วนมีฤทธิ์กำลังโดยธรรมชาติ”
