राजधर्मप्रश्नः — Yudhiṣṭhira’s Inquiry into Rājadharma (Śānti-parva 56)

आगमगमश्न परस्त्वत्त: सर्वेषां न: परंतप । भवन्तं हि परं बुद्धौ वासुदेवो5भिमन्यते,परंतप पितामह! हम सब लोगोंको आपसे ही शास्त्रोंके उत्तम सिद्धान्तका ज्ञान हो सकता है। भगवान्‌ श्रीकृष्ण भी आपको ही बुद्धिमें सर्वश्रेष्ठ मानते हैं

āgamāgamaś ca parastvattāḥ sarveṣāṃ naḥ parantapa | bhavantaṃ hi paraṃ buddhau vāsudevo 'bhimanyate, parantapa pitāmaha ||

ยุธิษฐิระกล่าวว่า “โอ้ผู้เผาผลาญศัตรู ปิตามหะเอ๋ย ความรู้สูงสุดแห่งคัมภีร์และจารีตอันเป็นหลักฐานนั้น พวกเราทั้งหมดจักได้จากท่านเท่านั้น เพราะแม้พระวาสุเทวะก็ทรงยกย่องท่านว่าเป็นผู้เลิศในปัญญา”
