Śānti Parva, Adhyāya 52 — Bhīṣma’s Humility Before Kṛṣṇa and the Granting of Boons

ततस्ते धर्मनिरता: सम्यक्‌ तैरभिपूजिता: । श्वः समेष्याम इत्युक्त्वा यथेष्टं त्वरिता ययु:

Transliteration

tataste dharmaniratāḥ samyak tair abhipūjitāḥ | śvaḥ sameṣyāma ity uktvā yatheṣṭaṃ tvaritā yayuḥ ||

Translation

ครั้นแล้ว ฤๅษีผู้ตั้งมั่นในธรรม ซึ่งได้รับการบูชาอย่างสมควรจากพวกเขา กล่าวว่า “พรุ่งนี้ยามเช้าเราจะกลับมาที่นี่อีก” แล้วก็รีบจากไปยังที่พำนักอันตนปรารถนา
