कि पुनश्नात्मनो लोकानुत्तमानुत्तमैर्गुणै: । तदस्य तप्यमानस्य ज्ञातीनां संक्षयेन वै

ki punaśnātmano lokān uttamān uttamaiḥ guṇaiḥ | tad asya tapyamānasya jñātīnāṃ saṃkṣayeṇa vai

ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า “แล้วโลกอันสูงสุดที่บุคคลอาจได้มาด้วยคุณธรรมอันประเสริฐยิ่งนั้นเล่า จะมีความหมายอันใด? แต่เขากลับถูกไฟแห่งความสำนึกผิดเผาผลาญ และความพินาศของญาติพี่น้องของตนเองนั่นแลเป็นเหตุแห่งความระทมทุกข์ของเขา”
