इति श्रीमहाभारते शान्तिपर्वणि राजधर्मानुशासनपर्वणि भीमादिकर्मनियोगे एकचत्वारिंशो5ध्याय:

वैशम्पायन उवाच
Although this line is a colophon rather than a teaching verse, it frames the ethical thrust of the chapter: rājadharma must be implemented through orderly administration—assigning duties (niyoga) to appropriate agents (Bhīma and others) so that governance becomes effective, accountable, and aligned with dharma.
Vaiśampāyana marks the close of Adhyāya 41 in the Śānti Parva, within the rājadharma instruction section. The chapter’s topic is identified as the commissioning/assignment of tasks for Bhīma and others, indicating a practical phase of counsel on how a king organizes his realm through delegated responsibilities.
