प्रियार्थमपि चैतेषां ब्राह्मणानां महात्मनाम् । नियोगादस्य च गुरोव्यासस्यथामिततेजस:,शत्रुओंको मारने और संताप देनेवाले नरेश! इन महामना ब्राह्मणोंका प्रिय करनेके लिये भी आपको इनकी बात मान लेनी चाहिये। आप अमित तेजस्वी गुरुदेव व्यासकी आज्ञासे हम सुहृदोंका और द्रौपदीका प्रिय कीजिये तथा सम्पूर्ण जगत्के हितसाधनमें लग जाइये
priyārtham api caiteṣāṁ brāhmaṇānāṁ mahātmanām | niyogād asya ca guro vyāsasyāmita-tejasaḥ ||
“แม้เพื่อให้พราหมณ์ผู้มีจิตยิ่งใหญ่เหล่านี้พอใจ ท่านก็ควรทำตามที่เขาวอนขอ และด้วยการนอบน้อมต่อพระบัญชาของอาจารย์วยาสผู้รุ่งเรืองหาประมาณมิได้ จงกระทำให้พวกเราผู้หวังดีและพระนางเทราปทีมีความยินดี และจงอุทิศตนเพื่อกิจอันเกื้อกูลแก่สรรพโลก”
