अध्याय ३५१ — उञ्छवृत्ति-व्रतसिद्धेः मानुषस्य परमगतिः
Sūrya–Nāga Dialogue on the Perfected Gleaner-Ascetic
तेन भिन्नास्तदा वेदा मनो: स्वायम्भुवेडन्तरे । ततस्तुतोष भगवान् हरिस्तेनास्य कर्मणा
tena bhinnās tadā vedā manoḥ svāyambhuve 'ntare | tatas tutoṣa bhagavān haris tenāsya karmaṇā ||
ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า— ด้วยกรรมนั้นเอง ในมันวันตระของมนุสวายัมภูวะ พระเวททั้งหลายจึงถูกแบ่งแยกออกเป็นส่วน ๆ ครั้นแล้ว พระผู้เป็นเจ้า หริ ผู้ทรงเป็นภควาน ก็ทรงพอพระทัยในเขา เพราะการกระทำนั้น
