देवं परमकं ब्रद्दा श्वेतं चन्द्रा भभच्युतम्‌ । यत्र चैकान्तिनो यान्ति नारायणपरायणा:

vaiśampāyana uvāca | devaṁ paramakaṁ brahmā śvetaṁ candrābhaṁ acyutam | yatra caikāntino yānti nārāyaṇaparāyaṇāḥ ||

ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า—เหล่าภักตะผู้มีใจแน่วแน่ ผู้ตั้งตนเป็นที่พึ่งในนารายณะโดยสิ้นเชิง ย่อมบรรลุพระอจฺยุตะผู้สูงสุด อันบริสุทธิ์ไร้มลทิน สว่างขาวดุจจันทร์ ผู้เป็นพรหมันอันยิ่งยวด. ข้อความนี้ชี้ว่า ภักติอันมั่นคงและการพึ่งพาเพียงพระผู้เป็นเจ้าเท่านั้น นำพ้นเป้าหมายทางโลกไปสู่จุดหมายสูงสุดอันเหนือโลก.
