ततो ज्येषछ्े तु दौहित्रे प्रादाद्‌ दक्षो नृपोत्तम । आदित्ये सवितुर्ज्येछ्ले विवस्वाउ्जगृहे तत:

tato jyeṣṭhe tu dauhitrē prādād dakṣo nṛpottama | āditye savitur jyeṣṭhe vivasvān jagṛhe tataḥ ||

ข้าแต่นฤปผู้ประเสริฐ! ต่อจากนั้น ทักษะได้มอบคำสอนแห่งธรรมนี้แก่หลานผู้ใหญ่ของตน—อาทิตยะ ผู้เป็นโอรสองค์ใหญ่ของสวิตฤ แล้วต่อมา วิวัสวาน (พระอาทิตย์) ก็รับเอาอุปเทศนี้จากอาทิตยะนั้น
