तेनैतत्‌ कथितं तात माहात्म्यं परमव्ययम्‌ । तस्माच्छुतं मया चेदं कथितं च तवानघ

Transliteration

Vaiśampāyana uvāca: tenaitat kathitaṃ tāta māhātmyaṃ paramāvyayam | tasmāc chrutaṃ mayā cedaṃ kathitaṃ ca tavānagha ||

Translation

ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า “ดูก่อนบุตรเอ๋ย มหิมาอันสูงสุดและไม่เสื่อมสูญนี้ ท่านผู้นั้นได้ประกาศไว้แล้ว โอ้ผู้ปราศจากบาป เราได้ฟังจากท่าน และบัดนี้ก็ได้เล่าแก่เจ้าแล้ว”
