Transliteration

etan me saṁśayaṁ vipra hṛdi śalyam ivārpitam | chindhīti hāsakathanāt para kautūhalaṁ hi me ||

Translation

โอ พราหมณ์ผู้ประเสริฐ ความสงสัยนี้ปักคาอยู่ในดวงใจข้าดุจหนาม โปรดตัดมันออกด้วยการเล่าอิติหาสะ (ตำนานโบราณ) เถิด เพราะความใคร่รู้ความจริงในเรื่องนี้มีอยู่ในข้าอย่างยิ่ง
