कामं स तव तुष्टात्मा कुर्याच्छापविमो क्षणम् । “राजन! तुम ब्रह्मण्यदेव भगवान् विष्णुके भक्त हो और वे श्रीहरि देवता तथा असुर सबके गुरु हैं। उनका मन तुमपर संतुष्ट है; इसलिये वे तुम्हारी इच्छाके अनुसार तुम्हें अवश्य शापसे मुक्त कर देंगे
kāmaṃ sa tava tuṣṭātmā kuryāc chāpavimokṣaṇam |
ภีษมะกล่าวว่า “ข้าแต่พระราชา เมื่อพระหฤทัยของพระผู้เป็นเจ้านั้นทรงพอพระทัยในพระองค์ หากทรงประสงค์ก็ย่อมทรงปลดเปลื้องพระองค์ให้พ้นจากศาป (คำสาป) ได้”
