सहसा दृष्टवन्त: सम पुनरेव बृहस्पते । “बृहस्पते! थोड़ी ही देरमें हमारे सामने एक ही साथ हजारों सूर्योके समान प्रभा प्रकट हुई। हमारी दृष्टि सहसा उस ओर खिंच गयी
sahasā dṛṣṭavantaḥ sma punar eva bṛhaspate | “bṛhaspate! thoḍī hī der meṃ asmākaṃ samakṣaṃ ekaiva sāhasrāṇāṃ sūryāṇāṃ samā prabhā prakaṭābhavat | asmākaṃ dṛṣṭiḥ sahasā tasyaiva diśi ākṛṣṭābhavat”
ภีษมะกล่าวว่า “โอ พฤหัสบดี! ในเวลาเพียงไม่นาน เบื้องหน้าสายตาของเราได้ปรากฏรัศมีหนึ่งเดียวขึ้นฉับพลัน—เจิดจ้าเสมือนแสงแห่งสุริยะนับพันพร้อมกัน สายตาของเราถูกดึงไปยังทิศนั้นอย่างมิอาจต้านทาน”
