बृहस्पतिस्तत:ः क्रुद्धः ख्तुचमुद्यम्य वेगित: । आकाशं घ्नन् खुच: पातै रोषादश्रूण्यवर्तयत्
Bṛhaspatis tataḥ kruddhaḥ khvucaṁ udyamya vegitaḥ | ākāśaṁ ghnan khvucaḥ pātaiḥ roṣād aśrūṇy avartayat ||
ภีษมะกล่าวว่า “ครั้นเห็นดังนั้น พฤหสปติเดือดดาลด้วยโทสะ เขายกคฺวุจะขึ้นด้วยความเร็ว แล้วฟาดใส่ท้องฟ้าซ้ำแล้วซ้ำเล่า; ด้วยความพิโรธถึงที่สุด น้ำตาก็ไหลออกจากดวงตา”
