एकान्तिधर्म-प्रश्नः (Inquiry into Ekāntin Dharma) / The Origin and Practice of Single-Pointed Nārāyaṇa-Centered Discipline

तस्य नारायणे भक्ति वहतोअमित्रकर्षिण: । एकशब्यासन देवो दत्तवान्‌ देवराट्‌ स्‍्वयम्‌,भगवान्‌ नारायणमें भक्ति रखनेवाले उस शत्रुसूदन नरेशपर प्रसन्न हो देवराज इन्द्र उन्हें अपने साथ एक शय्या और एक आसनपर बिठाया करते थे

tasya nārāyaṇe bhaktiṁ vahato 'mitrakarṣiṇaḥ | ekaśayyāsanaṁ devo dattavān devarāṭ svayam ||

เพราะกษัตริย์ผู้ปราบศัตรูองค์นั้นทรงดำรงภักติต่อพระนารายณ์อย่างมั่นคง ท้าวอินทร์จอมเทพจึงทรงพอพระทัย และประทานเกียรติอันหาได้ยากให้ร่วมทั้งแท่นบรรทมเดียวกันและที่ประทับเดียวกัน
