नारद उवाच
The verse highlights vairāgya (detachment): the sage decisively relinquishes familial ties to pursue a higher spiritual goal, symbolized by going to Kailāsa, a sacred abode associated with perfected beings (Siddhas).
Nārada narrates that an eminent sage leaves his father behind and travels to the vast heights of Mount Kailāsa, a place frequented by Siddhas, indicating a transition from household bonds to an ascetic, spiritually elevated sphere.
