त॑ ददर्शाश्रमपदे नारद: सुमहातपा: । अथैनमब्रवीत्‌ काले मथुराक्षरया गिरा,उसी समय महातपस्वी नारदजी उस आश्रमपर पधारकर व्यासजीसे मिले और मधुर अक्षरोंसे युक्त मीठी वाणीमें उनसे इस प्रकार बोले--

taṁ dadarśāśramapade nāradaḥ sumahātapāḥ | athainam abravīt kāle madhurākṣarayā girā ||

ครั้งนั้นมหาตบัสวีนารทได้เห็นท่าน ณ อาศรม ครั้นได้กาลอันควรแล้ว จึงกล่าวกับท่านด้วยวาจาอ่อนโยน ไพเราะด้วยถ้อยคำที่คัดสรร
