पितुर्वचनमाज्ञाय तमेवार्थ विचिन्तयन् । अध्यानं सो5तिचक्राम खेचर: खे चरज्निव,पिताकी आज्ञा मानकर उसी ज्ञातव्य विषयका चिन्तन करते हुए उन्होंने सारा मार्ग पैदल ही तै किया। जैसे आकाशचारी पक्षी आकाशमें विचरता है, उसी प्रकार वे भूतलपर विचरण करते थे
pitur vacanam ājñāya tam evārthaṁ vicintayan | adhyānaṁ so ’ticakrāma khecaraḥ khe carann iva ||
ครั้นรู้และน้อมรับพระบัญชาของบิดาแล้ว เขาก็ใคร่ครวญอยู่แต่เพียงความมุ่งหมายนั้นเท่านั้น และเดินเท้าผ่านหนทางทั้งสิ้น—ดุจนกผู้ท่องเวหาเคลื่อนไปในท้องฟ้าอย่างมั่นคงฉันใด เขาก็เคลื่อนไปบนพื้นพิภพอย่างแน่วแน่ฉันนั้น
