उत्सवादुत्सवं यान्ति स्वर्गात्‌ स्वर्ग सुखात्‌ सुखम्‌ । श्रद्धानाश्न दान्ताश्व धनस्था: शुभकारिण:

utsavād utsavaṁ yānti svargāt svarga-sukhāt sukham | śraddhayāśnanti dāntāś ca dhanāsthāḥ śubha-kāriṇaḥ ||

ภีษมะกล่าวว่า—จากพิธีมงคลหนึ่งเขาย่อมไปสู่อีกพิธีมงคลหนึ่ง จากสวรรค์หนึ่งไปสู่อีกสวรรค์ที่สูงกว่า จากความสุขหนึ่งไปสู่ความสุขที่ยิ่งกว่า เขารับประทานสิ่งที่ถวายด้วยศรัทธา เป็นผู้สำรวมอินทรีย์และมีวินัย; ตั้งมั่นในความมั่งคั่งอันชอบธรรม แล้วเป็นผู้กระทำกุศล.
