Educational Q&A

Repeatedly and emphatically, the verse teaches that delusion which clouds the intellect is to be removed; when one’s understanding is not overcome by such moha, the righteous path bears fruit—leading the person toward a meritorious, auspicious realm.

Vyāsa addresses his listener and reiterates a moral certainty: the Lord, likened to purifying fire, dispels intellectual bewilderment; as a result, the dharmic person who remains clear-minded is guided toward the reward of puṇya (a higher, blessed state).
