Impermanence, Svabhāva, and Śuka’s Resolve for Yoga
- धारणाद्वारा पंचभूतोंपर विजय या अधिकार प्राप्त करके योगी जन्म, जरा, मृत्यु आदिको जीत लेता है; इस विषयमें यह सूत्र भी प्रमाण है-- पृथ्व्यप्तेजोडनिलखे समुत्थिते पंचात्मके योगगुणे प्रवृत्ते । न तस्य रोगो न जरा न मृत्यु: प्राप्तस्य योगाग्निमयं शरीरम् ।।
yājñavalkya uvāca | avyaktasthaṁ paraṁ yat tat pṛṣṭas te 'haṁ narādhipa | paraṁ guhyam imaṁ praśnaṁ śṛṇuṣvāvahito nṛpa ||
ยาชญวลกยะกล่าวว่า “ข้าแต่พระราชา ท่านได้ถามเราถึงสภาวะสูงสุดซึ่งสถิตอยู่ในอวิยักตะ นี่เป็นคำถามอันลี้ลับลึกซึ้งยิ่ง ขอจงสดับด้วยความตั้งใจเถิด โอ้ผู้ปกครอง”
